About comdu.it

Comdu.it is a growing global network of diaspora volunteers committed to the sustainable development of Sri Lanka. We operate out of Canada, Germany, and Switzerland. We leverage diaspora technical expertise by bridging passionate volunteers with local grassroot organizations as a way to co-create meaningful and sustainable solutions for accessible education, livelihoods, and socio economic empowerment of all vulnerable and under-represented populations in Sri Lanka.

Comdu.it is dedicated to helping shift diaspora engagement from charity to sustainability, from aid to economic development, and from remittance to knowledge-based economy.

Goals and objectives

  • Provides leadership to and manages the efforts of team staff to ensure appropriate support of all departments
  • Participate in strategic planning to create a roadmap for the future of Comdu.it
  • Design innovative strategies to empower the development and growth of comdu.it
  • Responsible for overseeing planning, organization, and direction of Comdu.it’s operations and programs
  • Proactively identify and address roadblocks to drive results on aggressive timelines Dedicate time to ensuring the quality of projects via providing feedback, opinions, and suggestions across teams

What we’re looking for

  • Post-Secondary Education
  • Experience in human resources and management preferred
  • Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions for increased productivity
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about Comdu.it’s mission and willingness to take initiative to create change
  • Experience in people management and leadership positions is an asset
